Job Profile:

Design and Engineering of SCADA, Sub-Station Automation and Communication System for Sub-Transmission and Distribution network.
To Prepare DPR for Major Projects with required system studies, concept note and Specification for various equipment to be procured.
To carry out detailed Engineering, Commissioning and Integration of RTUs, FRTUs, FPI DCUs and Sectionalizers etc. or SCADA enabling equipment with the SCADA / DMS System.
RTU/FRTU engineering includes the RTU Signal list (IO Counts), Database Creation and interface with different Modems, IEDs, MFTs and other legacy devices etc.
Manage and supervision of Testing & Commissioning activities associated with Substation Automation and Distributed Automation equipment, for smooth integration (End to finish testing) with SCADA/DMS Control Centre.
Development and Preventive Maintenance of SCADA enabling equipment like RTUs/FRTUs, Router, Switch, Network Cabling, IEDs etc.
Design standards and processes for smooth and effective functioning of operation and maintenance activity.

Popper inventory management of SCADA/DMS Mandatory Spares would make High availability of SCADA/DMS System and resolve day to day Operational Variance.
To co-ordinate with the cross functional team,

division & interact with Vendor on various on-going issues & support during commissioning / O&M stage.
Understanding and adhering to Safety management system, Safety Tagging systems, PTW and HIRA/JSA, Contractor Safety Management system,

Incident investigation system, Safety Observation system, Rule and Procedures
To evaluate New Technology available within the market.

Candidate Profile:

BE/B Tech./Diploma in (Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science) with minimum 3-6 Years’ experience.
Should have knowledge of Sub-Station Automation, SCADA-DMS-OMS System.

Should have knowledge of fixing center for remote monitoring and control of Grid equipment’s
Should have knowledge of development, maintenance and analytical application building on SCADA, Enterprise Historian, Business Intelligence systems

Knowledge & exposure of communication protocols applicable for Transmission, Distribution and IoT systems (such as IEC61850, MODBUS, ICCP, OPC, IEC101, IEC104 and IEC103), Basic software knowhow of languages like Unix, Linux, C++, VB, Visual studio & RDBMS etc.

Should be ready to work independently, good analytical, communication and liaison skills. Convincing technically OEMs and internal customers, negotiation skills and business & Technical writing skills

Exposure to O & M / Testing / Erection & Commissioning activities of Automation and Communication system of Operational Technology (Transmission & Distribution) environment preferred.
