Aqysta india is looking for a complete-time civil hydraulics engineer to guide our international r&d and product development activities.
In the improvement of the hydropower-propulsion for our technologies, open-channel float situations (rivers/irrigation canals), website online-established hydraulic conditions want to be taken into consideration with a view to come to an green hydropowered pumping station layout whilst warranting upstream hydraulic protection.
Additionally, the propulsion strength and pumping requirements want to be matched with propulsion that can be extracted by using sizing of waterwheels for individual hypump installations. This position be active within the standardization of open hydraulics design processes related to the above subjects, and to use them in exercise inside the layout of web site-unique weirs, safety overflows and channelling systems.
Many of our r&d projects require cfd-simulation and/or hydraulic experimentation (subject tests). Your involvement in these assessments (analysis, validation, incorporation of learnings) can be an important element of the process, and could facilitate enhancing our hydraulic-associated machine design and standardization
Duties:
Open-channel hydraulics engineering aid duties for case-particular initiatives
Hydraulic modelling for sizing of weirs in canals
Detailing new drop-structures based on web page-unique conditions
Building calculational models on hydro-propulsion (waterwheels)
Technical assist sports related to open-channel hydraulics thing procurement
Participation in discipline trials and validation activities

Skills, experience and attributes:
Degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in open-channel hydraulics or similar
Confirmed paintings experience in open-channel hydraulics
Skillability in python required (instead, enjoy in another language and willingness to self-train python the use of e-studying)
Enjoy in civil engineering of hydraulic infrastructures is a plus
Revel in in hec-ras is a plus
Experience in experimental studies is a plus
Experience in discipline trying out and commissioning sports is a plus
Revel in in cfd analysis is a plus (openfoam)
