Designation: Sr. Engineer/Engineer Division/Location: Railway
Department: Project Execution – OHE Reporting to – Project Manager
Summary: Position will be responsible for planning and successful execution of railway electrification
works involving Overhead Electrification, construction of Traction Substation (TSS) and Sub-sectioning
& Paralleling Post (SSP).

Area of responsibilities:
 Planning the entire work execution, Control and monitoring to ensure timely completion,
 Planning for resource management including Staff, Materials, Cash flow and Site Management
 Knowledge of Railway Electrification, TSS & SCADA,
 Knowledge of RE Designs and clients’ requirements,
 Co-ordination with Design Consultant for Erection, Testing & Commissioning.
 Knowledge of RE Project Construction including process of Traffic Blocks/Power Blocks,
 Providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction.
 Implementation of the Quality, Health and Safety measures
 Preparation of bills for payments
 Coordination with Head office, Client, Staff and Sub Contractors
 Knowledge of Store-Inventory Management

 Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills
 Integrity/Honesty
Skills:
Knowledge in Primavera/ MS Project.
 Exposure to commercial aspect of the project.
 Knowledge of Statutory Compliance related to site like labour law, PF, Taxation, Insurance etc.
Education: Preferably Graduate in Electrical Engineer, In exceptional case Diploma in Electrical
Engineering with experience in Railway Electrification may also be considered.
Experience: Preferably between 3 -6 years of experience.
