What is Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme- Feeder Separation allied works

The Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme-Feeder Separation allied works is a scheme launched by the Indian government to improve the power distribution infrastructure in various regions of the country, including Marathwada, Vidarbha, Nashik, and Maharashtra. The scheme aims to separate the agricultural and non-agricultural feeders and provide dedicated power supply to the agricultural feeders. This separation will help to reduce the load on the transformers and improve the quality of power supply to the farmers.

The scheme also includes various allied works such as strengthening the sub-transmission and distribution system, upgrading the distribution transformers, and providing new connection points to the consumers. The overall objective of the scheme is to improve the efficiency and reliability of the power distribution system and promote the growth of the agricultural sector in the target regions.
