Knowledge of substation systems ranging in voltages from 12.47 kV up to 500 kV (Substation and Transmission Line both)
Proficient with National Electrical Safety Code -NESC, IEC, IEEE & ANSI Standards,
Acquainted to preparation of Single Line Diagram including Electrical Protection & Control systems.
Acquainted to SCADA System.
Layout Design (Substation Layout, Cable routing layout, Lighting Layout, Earthing Layout etc.)
Relevant design calculations (Transformer sizing, Cable Sizing, Battery & Battery charger Sizing, EDG sizing, Lighting Calculations)
Earthing calculations and Layouts
Technical ability in substation engineering design is required.
Support the planning, design, management, and engineering oversight for transmission line projects including new construction, rebuilds, realignments, and structure replacements. Create detailed engineering reports, drawing packages, cost estimates, specifications, bid documents, and material lists for these types of projects.
Preparation of BOQ for Tenders to be submitted to client.
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills & strong problem-solving skills.
Responsible for handling multiple projects and providing a detailed design package that complies with applicable engineering design standards and all safety codes
