With this, it would not be easy to shut down a private company with more than 100 employees. It will be necessary for companies to get government clearance before removing employees. The Central Government has decided to remove this controversial law from labor law. At the same time, the government has made some changes in the Closure, Layoff-Retrenchment Clause. The government has made a new change under the Code on Industrial Relations. The government had given the number of employees 100 to 300 in the draft bill.
Arbitrators can be banned from companies
With this, many companies, which had only 100 employees, could have tampered with this rule. But now as per the rule issued by the government, the company with 100 employees will not be able to remove their employees. This rule of government will prevent the arbitrament of private companies.
Government can give new code within two to three weeks
In the pressure of the trade union, the government withdrew the move with stringent reforms. The revised draft bill has been sent to the Cabinet for approval by the government and it is expected that the government can approve the new code within two to three weeks.
